Group Consolidation Specialist to Skanska

Gazella is now recruiting a Group Consolidation Specialist to the world’s leading project development and construction company, Skanska. As part of Skanska Group’s Consolidation and IFRS team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the group’s consolidated financial reporting. The team is responsible for consolidation of actuals, forecasts and long-term forecasts, preparation of reports to executive management and external stakeholders, as well as securing the production of Skanska’s financial statements and annual report. You will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative team that continuously works to improve reporting processes and support the organization in matters related to IFRS and group accounting. Your challenge

As Group Consolidation Specialist at Skanska your core responsibilities will be:

  • Perform monthly and quarterly group consolidations in Oracle HFM
  • Support the closing process through hands-on reconciliation and consolidation of financial data from 10 business units
  • Prepare selected notes and disclosures for the consolidated annual report
  • Contribute to the quarterly financial reporting process, including actuals, forecasts, and long-term forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS with team specialists
  • Provide support on ad hoc questions and reporting issues raised by the business units
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to review and resolve reporting matters
  • Evaluate and improve internal processes related to group reporting and consolidation

Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a similar field. You have approximately five years of relevant experience, ideally starting your career in audit at one of the Big 4 or Big 6 firms. Experience from working with large or transaction-heavy companies, preferably with complex group structures or listed companies, is highly valued. While you may not have worked hands-on with group consolidation, you have gained a solid understanding of the process through audit or work with large corporates. Experience in group accounting or consolidation after leaving audit is considered a strong merit. You are comfortable navigating fast-paced environments with high volumes of transactions and enjoy working close to the numbers, with a structured and detail-oriented mindset. Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is required as both languages are used in daily work.
