Head of Corporate Planning & Control to OX2
Gazella is now recruiting a Head of Corporate Planning & Control for listed OX2, one of Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy sources. In the role of Head of Corporate Planning & Control, you will lead the day-to-day work of the Corporate Planning & Control team. The role entails managing the business controlling team with overall responsibility for leading and developing processes in forecasting, budgeting and risk allocation. Over the past six years, OX2 has shown strong growth and is currently present in ten markets in Europe. OX2’s product areas include onshore and offshore wind power, solar power, and energy storage. In 2022, the Group’s sales amounted to SEK 7,644 million with an operating profit of SEK 1,122 million.
In this role, you will work closely with group management and country managers and have a cohesive responsibility for the business plan and the ongoing business follow-up. The role is based at the head office in Gamla Stan.

Your challenge
In the role of Head of Corporate Planning & Control at OX2, your tasks will be:
- Lead the budget process and business planning at group level.
- Lead business monitoring in terms of financial and operational targets.
- Responsibility for decision-making regarding capital allocation.
- Forecasting.
- Strategic and financial simulations in connection with major investment decisions and acquisitions.
- Monthly and quarterly reviews and operational management with business area managers.
- Overall responsibility for project management and project follow-up.
- Develop system environment and Business Intelligence (PowerBI).
- Together with Investor Relations, coordinate analysis and communication to the capital market.
- Lead and develop the business controlling function.
- Act as a sparring partner to the CFO.
Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant work experience in a similar role. You have a university degree in economics and good accounting skills. Ideally, you have experience in leading teams, strategic controlling and business planning. Interest in systems and experience of Power BI is considered meritorious. You are fluent in Swedish and English.
