Head of Business Control – Oslo
Gazella is now recruiting a Head of Business Control to a larger company in Oslo. As Head of Business Control you will be a key player in the management accounting of the local business and act as a business partner towards local and international operations management. You will handle the day-to-day operations and lead a smaller team of business controllers.

As Head of Business Control your core responsibilities will be:
- Own the monthly- and quarterly planning process, annual budgeting and reporting.
- Lead a team of Business Controllers.
- Act as a business partner for the local business leaders.
- Provide analysis and participate in management reviews.
- Contribute to strategic projects (e.g. M&A, DD).
Your experience
For this position we are looking for a candidate with a master’s degree in finance/business administration. You have at least 8 years of experience in business controlling and 1-2 years documented leadership experience and a solid understanding of local GAAP and IFRS standards. You have excellent Excel skills and experience from working with larger ERP tools and BI tools. Fluency in English, both written and speaking, is necessary for this position.
Personal traits
You have strong communication and collaboration skills, you have experience interacting with senior management and ability to work under time pressure. You are analytical and you also have a business-oriented mindset. You have excellent organizational and planning skills. Meeting strict deadlines is not a problem for you and you have a passion for leadership.
