Country Lead Finance at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

Gazella is working closely together with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) to find their next Country Lead Finance. In this role you would be a member of the Swedish Management Team and responsible for moving the business ahead. This role is critically important in the support of the VP Country Director, as this role provide financial analysis and the outlook of the Swedish market.  You will also be exposed to senior leadership of Northern Europe Business Unit (NEBU) and be required to present clear, actionable financial data, coupled with recommendations that will enable the team and NEBU to meet its financial objectives.

Your challenge

This Lead Finance role is responsible for the various aspects of the Swedish and NEBU Planning and Performance Management (PPM) function for our Swedish operations. Your focus is Business Partnering the organization and VP Country Director but you also have overall responsibility for the closing process.

Key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Leading directly the country finance team (FTE appr. 11).
  • Own the end-to-end weekly/monthly forecasting process for the Swedish market.
  • Own Long Range Plan, Annual Business Plan and Budget.
  • Provide day to day support to the Swedish team to ensure the plan is delivered, new initiatives are being developed through proactive and reactive financial insights.
  • Participate in value management projects.
  • Standardize and harmonize processes in line with EU/NEBU guidelines executing these processes.
  • Manage Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing process.
  • Close cooperation with Associate Director, Strategic Planning.
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function.
  • Participate in NEBU and EU projects if applicable.
  • Represent CCEP Sweden from a Finance perspective as appropriate (Board of Directors updates, external auditors, workers’ councils, unions, etc.).

Your background

For this position, we are looking for a finance professional with an accounting, business or finance degree and good understanding of fundamental accounting and finance concepts. It is also important that you understand key stakeholder needs (both finance and commercial) and the dynamics of a public company operating in an international environment. You have experience of managing and growing a team and you are able to manage change within an organization. Advanced Excel knowledge, including experience with financial modeling is required. You are fluent in Swedish and English. If you have experience from FMCG business, including key financial drivers and metrics and/or experience and knowledge with SAP, it is meritorious.
