Business Controller to OX2
Gazella is now recruiting a Business Controller for listed OX2, one of Europe’s leading developers of renewable energy sources. In the role of Business Controller, the key focus is on OX2’s main markets incl. Sweden, Finland, Poland, France and Australia where you will work closely with the country managers as well as other senior decision-makers with lead on areas ranging from business planning, target setting, and investment prioritization to follow-up and forecasting.
Over the past six years, OX2 has shown strong growth and is currently present in ten markets in Europe. OX2’s product areas include onshore and offshore wind power, solar power, and energy storage. In 2022, the Group’s sales amounted to SEK 7,644 million with an operating profit of SEK 1,122 million. Our function for Business Control is under strong development and we work proactively for a more data-driven financial and business follow-up, a work that you will obviously be an important part of. We work to support and challenge management in both business and operational decisions to consistently grow and lead OX2 in the best way.
Your challenge
In the role as Business controller, your core responsibilities will be:
- Lead on financial support to country managers and other senior decision makers.
- Lead the budget and business planning.
- Lead business monitoring in terms of financial and operational targets.
- Follow-up and forecasting.
- Monthly and quarterly reviews and operational management with business area managers.
- Strategic and financial simulations in connection with major investment decisions and acquisitions.
- Lead decision-making regarding capital allocation.
- Continue to develop and evolve the business controlling function.
Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have relevant work experience from a position within Business Control. You have a university degree in economics, good accounting skills and probably a background from an auditing firm. Experience from a project based organization is considered meritorious. You are fluent in Swedish and English.

To succeed in the role, you have strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset and good communication skills. You are solution-oriented and like changing environments where you can work on developing systems and processes together with your team.
