Why LOTS Group?

At LOTS, you will join a young, entrepreneurial company where team spirit and a strong, supportive culture are at the core of everything we do. You will be a part of an international and dynamic environment in an ecosystem of companies working together to accelerate the sustainable shift in transport. With a bold vision of achieving net-zero emissions in logistics, we are committed to driving real change. As we continue to grow, we offer exciting opportunities for personal and professional development in a future-focused industry where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.

The role is based at the LOTS Stockholm office, in close proximity to the central station. However, LOTS offers the flexibility to work from home partially, depending on tasks and in agreement with your manager. As we are a global organization, international travel can be expected on occasion.

Your challenge

With full ownership, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting for one or more of our sister companies. As our Shared Services evolves, you will help onboard new entities by setting up efficient processes and systems. Many of the entities have international subsidiaries and rely on external suppliers to manage their books. In this role, you will work closely with those suppliers and local finance teams to ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Be part of establishing efficient accounting processes for the new shared service model
  • General bookkeeping, monthly close activities, VAT reporting
  • Yearly book closing activities and audit processes
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in line with group policies and local regulations
  • AP and AR
  • Improving ERP functions
  • Assist in onboarding new companies into the service
  • Ad hoc activities

You will report to our Global Accounting Director (GAD) directly under the Group CFO. The GAD is responsible for the accounting function at LOTS including our emerging Shared Services. You will be working closely with a senior accountant.

Your experience/qualifications

To succeed in this position, we expect that you have a Bachelor’s level degree within relevant area or an accountant degree (redovisningsekonom) with 2+ years’ experience in accounting. You are an accounting professional with knowledge of accounting principles and high proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar). You should also have high proficiency in MS Office, most critically Excel. Fluency in both Swedish and English is required, as you will be communicating in both languages on a daily basis. Additionally, documented project management experience is advantageous.

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone with the ability to balance attention to detail but also has the ability to see the bigger picture. You like the fact that the company is young, with an entrepreneurial culture and ambitious colleagues. You find the idea of working in a dynamic, evolving and international environment with multiple stakeholders exciting, and you have strong communication and interpersonal skills. While you are comfortable with change and ad-hoc problem-solving, you maintain a structured approach. Above all, you are a humble team player willing to put your role aside and do what is necessary for the team to succeed.
