Senior Accountant to Skanska Group HQ
Gazella is now recruiting an experienced and team oriented Senior Accountant to Skanska Group HQ. Skanska is one of the world’s leading construction and development companies. They have business operations spanning from the Nordics to Europe and the United States. As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting of Skanska’s central units, including monthly-, quarterly and year-end closing. You will become an important part of their journey towards a better society and work in an international and multicultural environment with colleagues from all around the globe. The team consists of five persons situated in Stockholm, all reporting to the Head of Accounting.

Din utmaning
As Senior Accountant at Skanska Group HQ your responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for the accounting and reporting of Skanska’s central units.
- Monthly and quarterly closing.
- Year-end closing.
- Preparation of annual reports.
- Reconciliations.
- Responsible for audits of Skanska’s central units.
- Responsible for accounts receivables for Skanska AB and Skanska Financial Services.
- Contact and collaboration with internal stakeholders, auditors and other departments within Skanska HQ.
Your experience
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in finance or equivalent education, along with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in accounting. An understanding of and interest in working with processes is essential. Previous experience with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes is required, and a background in larger organizations would be advantageous. Proficiency in both Swedish and English is necessary, as well as excellent skills in Microsoft Office. Additionally, experience with Oracle Fusion is considered meritorious.

Since the accounting team works closely together, we are looking for a solutions-oriented person with a positive outlook on helping fellow colleagues. Furthermore, having excellent collaboration skills and an open mindedness towards new responsibilities and tasks is a key attribute to be successful in this role.
