Global Accounting & Reporting Manager for Specops
Gazella is now looking for a Global Accounting and Reporting manager for the growing IT security group, Specops. In the role, which is new, you will be a part of a five-person finance team and you will report to the CFO. You will be responsible for the group’s accounting and reporting with staff localized in Sweden and Canada. Accounting for the UK and Germany are partly handled by local accounting agencies.
Specops is an international SaaS company and a leading provider of password management and authentication solutions. It is established in several international markets with headquarters in central Stockholm. - Responsible for accounting policies, routines and quality in all legal entities (Sweden, UK, US, Canada, Germany so far).
- Responsible for group consolidation (currently K3).
- Making sure that accounting is compliant with current national and international accounting standards, rules and regulations.
- Compiling and delivering timely and accurate financial data for internal and external financial reporting purposes (management, board, owners, authorities).
- Lead improvement projects within accounting, for example accounts payables, system support etc.
- Global tax.
For this position we think you have an academic degree within finance, approximately 8-10 years of experience in qualified international accounting work and a few years of experience in a similar role. You are passionate about development work and driven by change. You are experienced in transfer pricing, VAT and other tax issues. You are used to K3, and it is very beneficial if you have knowledge of IFRS. As the group is international, it is important that you can communicate fluently in English, spoken and written.
As a person you thrive in a growing company where routines, processes, systems etc. have to be adapted for change. You have good communications skills with local and international stakeholders and you have the ability to lead improvement. You are also communicative, flexible and enjoy working together with your colleagues and support them in their work.
Specops Software was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden with additional companies in the US, Canada, UK and Germany. Specops was acquired by Monterro Software Investment in 2019, and is now on a growth journey. In 2020 the turnover was approx. 85 msek, and the growth target for 2021 is 25%. We are today 60 employees and according to the business plan we will be 70 by the end of 2021. A little more than 60% of the revenue is from North America and the rest mainly from UK, Germany, Sweden and other European companies. One of the goals in 2021 one of the goals is establish a presence in France.
