Gazella is recruiting a Corporate Development Manager to Permobil, a global leader in advanced medical technology. Permobil operates on a global scale with offices around the world and is part of Patricia Industries, a subsidiary of Investor AB headquartered in Sweden.
Corporate Development constitutes a critical function. As a rapidly growing company there is an extensive and growing need to align the global organization around our strategy and identify and execute on opportunities to develop our business beyond its current scope. This team is at the core of this, working with senior executives to develop their business plans and priorities, as well as working with the organization and external parties in executing projects to grow the company and improve its productivity. The nature of the work requires daily interactions with the whole organization, from local sales teams to the CEO. In this role you will be reporting to Director of Corporate Development and the position is based in Kista, Sweden and will provide opportunity for international travelling.

As a Corporate Development Manager at Permobil, your core responsibilities will be:
- Supports the annual strategic and business planning process, and works with senior managers to develop plans and set priorities.
- Coordinates the work with business performance management to track progress towards strategic targets.
- Enhances the analytical skills within the company, e.g. conducts business cases and drives towards fact-based decisions.
- Assists with preparations of top-class Board material.
- Leads, or take part in, transformation projects across the company. Examples could be analysis and evaluation of new product and market segments, product management and product portfolio optimization or development of new business models, e.g. related to digital solutions and aftermarket.
For this position, we expect you to have a university degree in business, finance and/or engineering with excellent grades. You have approximately 3-5 years of experience from relevant roles, e.g. management consulting, corporate development, product management or commercial excellence. Further, you have international experience and are fluent in English. Previous experience from healthcare or life science industry is meritorious.
To succeed in this role we see that you have a strong business acumen, are a team player and with strong analytical skills. It is essential that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will have a lot of contact areas throughout the organization, from local sales to the CEO. You thrives when taking on new challenging tasks and are independent with a well-developed ability to make decisions.
