Gazella is now recruiting a driven, analytical, and prestige-less Controller to Perrigo Nordic. As a controller you will report to the Head of Central Controlling and work in close collaboration with the department heads and brand managers, playing a key role in reporting and analyzing SG&A. You will ensure to drive business towards profitable growth, pushing the financial agenda within the area of General and Administrative costs and marketing spend. This is a newly created role spanning over the broader controlling spectrum and you will have to opportunity to influence the focus of the role.

Your responsibilities

As a Controller to Perrigo your responsibilities are:

  • Report budget/forecast and drive analysis and understanding of OPEX and Marketing Spend by working close with Deprtmental Heads and Brand Managers.
  • Taking ownership of questions related to General and Adminastrive Costs and Marketing Spend.
  • Prepare projections of future periods by collecting inputs from Departmental Heads and Brand Managers, performing financial analysis, and making reasonable assumptions.
  • Push for continuous improvement and cost optimization, demanding financial accountability and ownership.
  • Take an active role in the group reporting together with the Central Nordic Controlling team by developing and improving the monthly and quarterly reports, acting as a speaking partner to the European Perrigo finance functions and auditors, and secure transparency between local and group accounting.
  • Play a key role in ensuring the Nordic reporting is SOX compliant.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects and analysis with the controlling function.
  • Be a super-user in SAP.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent education. You have minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience from controlling, group accounting, or auditing, ideally from international companies within FMCG or Healthcare. You have solid understanding of accounting, financial statements and value drivers. You are skilled in working with Microsoft office, especially Excel and knowledge of SAP is considered an advantage. Lastly, you have great communication skills and fluency in English, both oral and written.
