Business Controller to Karo Healthcare

Gazella is now recruiting a business driven, collaborative and communicative Business Controller with focus on e-commerce to Karo Healthcare. As Business controller you will act as a trusted finance business partner to Karo’s management team for our brands within the vitamin & supplement category as well as cosmetics category, that operates within the digital & online ecosystem. You will be a part of a global Business Control team and report to the Head of Business Control for Squads. You will play a vital role in analysing performance, enhancing financial planning, and providing strategic insights for our digital born brands. Focusing on ensuring solid financial insights, optimizing processes, and building strong relationships, your expertise will contribute to our growth journey.

You will be located at the HQ in Central Stockholm, Norrmalm, with the opportunity of hybrid work. The position requires travelling to our hubs in UK, Belgium and Germany and it is important that you are fluent and have great communication skills in English. (Alternatively, the role can also be based in Maidenhead, Ghent or Dusseldorf).

Your Challenge

  • Acting as a finance business partner to support and drive continuous performance improvement and financial management, including forecasting, planning and internal control.
  • Analysis of KPI´s such as: Sales & Gross Margin, Brand Contribution, Squad Contribution, Opex etc
  • Monthly and quarterly performance analysis and reporting: analyzing monthly results, create reports, action plans and initiate follow-ups across organization ensuring pro-active actions are taken to manage P&Ls
  • Driving optimization and profitability for new product developments as well as the existing portfolio
  • Securing roll-out of ways of working to ensure continuously improvement and sustainable long-term profitability.
  • Various ad hoc projects and analysis.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Controlling, along with 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally from international companies within FMCG or Consumer Healthcare. You have a genuine interest in e-commerce and a previous experience in working with Amazon or Shopify is a strong advantage. We also see that you are used to transform large amounts of complex data into useful information that brings value to the business. You are used to financial systems, BI tools with excellent excel skills. Your previous work has required strong analytical skills, the ability to turn analysis into actionable points and an ability to collaborate & communicate cross-departmental to turn analysis into actions. You have worked with a clear focus on improvement of processes and results, and in roles with a strong commercial orientation. Lastly, you have great communication skills and are fluent English. Fluency in German is advantageous.
