Accounting Manager to Citycon – Oslo
Gazella is now recruiting an Accounting Manager to Citycon in Oslo. As Accounting Manager you are responsible for the accounting of the local legal companies together with the team of accounting professionals. In this position you will lead a team of 3-4 accountants and work in close co-operation with the colleagues in the other Nordic countries. You will support the accountants in more complex accounting questions and act as partner and accounting specialist towards the local operations management and business controllers. In this position you will report directly to Director Nordic Accounting and your primary workplace will be in the Citycon Oslo office, located in Skøyen.
Din utmaning
In the role as Accounting Manager your core responsibilities are:
- Own the local daily-, monthly- and quarterly accounting process.
- Prepare and coordinate preparation of annual Financial Statements and tax return calculations as well as quarterly VAT return calculations of the local legal companies.
- Act as a team lead for the accounting team.
- Be a key point of contact towards the local authorities, auditors, tax advisors and other external service providers.
- Ensure local accounting and SOX compliance as well as a high overall accounting quality.
- Contribute to accounting processes and tools development and standardization across the Nordics, in close partnership with the Nordic colleagues and in compliance with the corporate standards and key business indicators.
Your experience
For this position we are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent education. You have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, in an international environment and have a strong understanding of local GAAP and tax rules and basic understanding of IFRS accounting standards. You have strong computer, ERP and Excel skills and it is meritorious if you have experience from Workday or other large ERP tools. Furthermore, you are fluent in English, both in writing and speaking. You are a natural leader and leadership experience is advantageous.
